Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
A temporary departure from my ongoing 'I love a parade' series, in order to show some other interesting aspects of the Faire. I have oodles of pics from this particular entertainment.

Spectacular capture of this pointed encounter, Harry; they don't seem angry, so perhaps it's just a bit of a practice bout. I also was not aware that they had this sort of entertainment at the faire!

Nice "action shot", I can see why you enjoyed the faire. I'm kinda sad that the renaissance faire season up here in the northern states has ended for me, they are loads of fun and I always meet great people at them.

The Society for Creative Anachronism stages jousts at Medieval Faires down here in S.W. Florida. Real horses, splintered lances and all. (And then there's Medieval Times outside of Orlando.)
