Description
Still in Silver Falls State Park here. If you look closely, you can see tiny little people walking on the trail that goes under the cliff that South Falls flows over. I've seen photos of this waterfall looking much fuller, but this was the relatively small amount of water flowing when we were there. Still an impressive sight due to it's lush surroundings, but I'd like to go back some time when it's really gushing. Technically, South Falls, at 177 feet, is the second highest falls in the park, by one foot (Double Falls, which I didn't get to see, is listed at 178 feet tall)...

I would love to go for a walk around here. Beautiful photo. The people do give it a sense of scale.

Very lush indeed, and I'll bet the sound on that trail is deafening. What a wonderful spot and capture!

It seems to me that Dennis & Deb (Cosine and his wife) have been there ... the scene is familiar. What an amazing place that must be!

Lush green colors to highlight the falls. They are tiny people down there and perfect for perspective!
