Kind of discouraged making anything and posting it on the Internet, a friend at DA sent me a note a couple weeks ago about finding some of my Stuff at Facebook, I'm not on Facebook. They gave me a link and I checked it out, found a bunch of my works and a bunch of stuff from other Fractalists at DA also. They were direct Rips not Tweaks, same dimensions as posted on DA, gradient/lights everything except Sig, not even hiding the fact they were stolen and claimed as original works by the thief at FB. People ask me why I'm not on FB, Guess I am Just not as myself, All of us at DA with stolen Art pitched a bitch at TPTB at FB and finally got them pulled and eventually the Page taken down. Really hit me hard, I give my Parameters away, load them up tweak away I don't care what you do to them, I do the same thing to other peoples Params but I give Credit when I do and I damn sure don't Steal other peoples Art. I thought about not Posting anymore Art but what the hell it ain't my Karma getting screwed up and besides I never post the Full Res original, not even close not even at DA where they have no Limits so stealing it is just stupid, so go ahead Steal away, Karma will eventually catch you and when it does everyone will know you for the Lying, Thieving Ass you are..........(Climbs down off the Soapbox and gets back to work)

I love your fractal art Len, and yes i know that many people steal art on Facebook from other artist. But i hope you will be posting your beautiful fractal artwork here on Renderosity. I have also the same problems a couple of months ago. It is indeed not funny at all. I hope you stay.

Yeah! there was some 'lady' that was trying to post works that weren't her own! it took a lot of 'discussion' to convince her that if she did not cease and desist, that we would get her banned from all sites and have her arrested This looks like a stage for three metal bands: Rammstein, BabyMetal and Manowar

Frankly. people today will steal almost anything. I am not adept at writing parameters, but enjoy discovering the infinite possibilities in already created params. But credit is given, and when specifics are not available I seek out a link of some viable source. It is all great fun and it lets us escape for awhile from the Dogand Pony Show on Planet Misfit. Facebook...STILL SUCKS ! as for ripped art, at least yours is good enough to be knicked, so it's sort of a compliment in a shitty way, sounds like you need some vapourware code embedded into your pix, that will fuck 'em up pretty good ! I don't do Facebook myself. I only signed up years ago cause my sis had a few pics for me to see. After sign up I had 100+ people wanting to be my friend. I've always wonder if some of of my works are there? Love your work,.len.

this is wonderful, the light, the depth and the focus are all amazing. I've had art stolen, too and it does suck. I stopped for awhile and then thought why should I give up something I like because of other people's bad ethics. do what you enjoy and share what you enjoy... petty people and thieves will always be around. I love your art, I hope you don't stop sharing.

Stealing art and posting it on Facebook as your own totally sucks. You got to have a lot of balls to do that. I do Facebook but just my family, since we are spread all over the country. Awesome Image!

Very cool image Lenord. This is the first I've heard of the art theft resurfacing at FB. I wonder if it was the same woman that Vidom had been tracking. I guess I'll have to check it out to satisfy my curiosity. I don't believe in karma, art theft is a crime and whoever it is doing it needs to be arrested for an example to anyone else who thinks they can do the same.

Sorry I am late in the door Len have had this problem for a long bit Len it is why I pulled much of my work as it was getting ripped and sold by freelancer designers been the only way an artist now knows they have made it I guess is when some one else gets paid for your work your art work is fantastic Len but know if it is on line likely chance someone is ripping it, Deviant art stuff is even worse as freelancer use it as free source copy write don't mean shit to the uncreative you no longer need talent you just rip someones work that does, Love you Bear
