Bryce7.1Pro/DazStudio/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop
Something dark for the Halloween time period. I have been watching the British drama series Wallander and Hinterland lately,and the stark landscapes combined with the harshness of violent crimes inspired this image. Figure is Predatron's Lo Res Modern Male,two foreground crows are by Noggins,Black Walnut trees are part of the Trees Of The Forest set,dead bushes by Lisa's Botanicals and Instance Grass For Bryce( all from Daz3D). Foliage is a Bryce preset with Seriously Real Materials applied( also from Daz3D), two terrains create the landscape with another Seriously Real Material applied. Water is a 2D panel with a ProMaterial applied( the creek itself was carved out of the terrain in the Terrain Editor).The background crows are a Photoshop document using brushes from Obsidian Dawn applied to a 2D panel. Sky,light and atmo are custom...sky used as IBL with sun enabled.Postwork in Photoscape and Photoshop incorporating various filter effects...signature and resizing done in Photoshop. I am not familiar with the shows you mentioned however, the dark and stark mood of this image might also fit a scene from "Utopia", another British TV show airing on Space right now. (Very strange, but intriguing programme, with plenty of dark humor and brutal violence) Back to your image, you have captured the mood very well!

My wife and I like Wallander, which we see on PBS in America. Always found the somber settings of that show interesting. Think you've capture a lot of it in this posting.
