Description

This is the second of my Chard Carnival float pics and this is a 'Tableau' float which means that everyone on board has to be dead still and try not to move a muscle. They take on expressions which they have to keep throughout the parade or be penalised by the judges. If you zoom you will see the horrific expression on the driver of the cars face - he is in fact driving the float and had dispensation to move his arms but not his face !! One more tomorrow. Am posting this earlier than usual - going to Cardiff, Wales today.

What a ride! A really great capture, Jeff. How did you manage to get it that bright? Was i well lit, or did you have a giant flash?

Fantastic shot! This is another to get the film goers excited! The idea of remaining still for a full parade is crazy! I thought they should perform to get bonus points not stay still to stop deductions.

Another super parade photo Jeff and wasn't it nice that they let the float driver move his arms and hopefully the foot on the brakes!
