Excellent composition - I'm guessing you patiently waited for the donkeys to align in just the right configuration to create the line leading the eye up the stairs. A very bright, sunny & colorful shot with appealing light & shadows. I agree with Andrea's comment about the donkeys - the Stones song "Beast of Burden" comes to mind. These particular riders, all relatively slim young girls, may not be too bad a burden, but I can imagine heavier adults being pretty oppressive - especially on hot days...

A lovely shot and I feel sorry for the donkeys but then their owners have to look after them to get the maximum return.
