Description
This handsome pair meet out on the wet expanse, possibly to engage in combat, or to just converse amicably.
While perusing my ancient files, I came across this one harking back to my salad days of Bryce/Poser art work, i.e., the years 2002 through 2005, when I was much more creative, imaginative, indulgent and fun loving than I am now.
And, it's been so long since I developed this work, I can't remember from whom or where I adapted these creatures, so all I can do is say many thanks to their creators.
Adelis.

I have nooooooo idea how these are done---the concept of "posing" figures in 3D just eludes me. So I'm aware that the labor may be much greater than the playfulness of the images show...but this is another delight. To me, the frog and slug don't seem ready for battle, but more like they're stopping to share a few tidbits while on the way to the store. Like "are you getting tired of this sludge, or what?" I love the simplicity of your imagination, you have a few big elements at work, and you make a whole and playful scene out of them. I don't know where you came up with that marshland, but it's wonderfully flat and sloshy, and with a wonderfully jaundiced tone too, matching the greens and mud-yellows of the frog and slug. Love the lighthouse back there: Looks half-sunken; and in any case I'm sure it's useful given the infinite expanse of this wetlands. Love the playfulness of the frog's skin, too---all those red streaks---and the "peaks" on the slug's shell. Even its red splotches. Good angle for the meeting too. Lots of fun, Harry, a real delight.
