Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
The bottom shot shows part of the crowd in attendance enjoying the competition. I believe one of them over at the left of the pic was taking my picture. Touche.
A temporary departure from my ongoing 'I love a parade' series, in order to show some other interesting aspects of the Faire. I have oodles of pics from this particular entertainment.

This seems more like a friendly spar, rather than a battle to the death...a little more casual than bloodthirsty. Looks like great fun to see in person! Superb shots, Harry, as always!
