this is the first time I have seen this out of the hangar. the pilot must have been taking a friend for a ride, as the office told me there was no flights scheduled for today
I took some of my visitors to a mall while I took the man to the Cavanaugh flight museum at Addison,TX
my brotherinlaw(85 years/cancer) passed away the other night so I will attend his funeral tomorrow to be with my older sister

Sorry to hear about the loss in the family. I believe there is someone locally(upstate NY) that might have something similar to this. My brother-in-law, a pilot and former Army chopper pilot at that, mentioned someone in the area with several old(vintage) aircraft, and a Bell Heli was one I know he mentioned. Nice catch of a rare bird.

Like 'Windigo' my first thought was of M.A.S.H..... I don't 'do' heights, I get a nose bleed just standing on a chair but I've never had a problem in aircraft, probably being enclosed? I've always felt the bubble canopy on this must make a great photo platform. One of the landmarks in helicopter development, great capture...even better knowing it still gets off the ground.. 10/10
