Description

I had to say that, as I thought it to be funny. there was so many visitors at my brother-in-law's funeral including a large group of WWII and the Korean war veterans. they did the full honor including the flag for my sister. I went and ate lunch with two of my brothers(only 2) and my brother's ex-wife. they have not been married for many years, but she rents him a room in her basement so she can help him keep straight and avoid the booze, if not for their only son. I seen this sunset on the way home and had to run over to the Lake Texoma dam to shoot some off. there were hundreds of bugs and some made a picture look like there was trash on the lens. I appreciate all the well wishes and will try to make time tomorrow to visit the galleries. drove about 600 miles today there were two major accidents on north bound 75 , plus 2 minor ones. luckily I heard on the radio that the way I normally take was completely shut down for another major accident . I was able to take 75 all the way, but then at I30 the traffic was stopped so I took the back way home. a large city where ever it is, one must know the back ways to avoid sitting on the interstate for hours

Richard, this is a moving capture and one that is very fitting as your family mourns the loss of your Brother-in-law recently. This is an important time for families to put aside any differences and be there for each other. I'll be sure to keep your sister in my thoughts and prayers.

A stunning photo, And I love the clever title! This is a beauty, Richard! Wonderful that they did the full military honors - as a vet he deserved no less. That's always a very moving tribute. We had the same for my dad since he served for 20 years in the Air Force. I did fine until they did the rifle salute and Taps.. That always gets you right in the heart.

A magnificent sky! The boat doesn't bother me as much as a vapor trail would, but it is still intrusive.
