Description

Hello Rendosians, La Rochelle is a french harbour located on the Atlantic coast. It is famous because of the two towers you can see on this picture. The tower on the left is named Tour Saint Nicolas (Santa Claus Tower) and had a military purpose (protecting the entrance of the harbour) The over tower is named Tour de la Chaîne (Chain Tower) and hosts now some exhibitions. La Rochelle is now a touristic harbour attracting a lot of people from France and United-Kingdom. Shot taken in August 2014 during my vacation ! Best view in full size ! Un très joli effet de lumière sur ces bateaux nichés au fond du port, et qui rappelle du même coup que la chaleur et la lumière ont manqué cet été en France. Une magnifique photo prise loin de la Lorraine ;-)

C'est une très jolie ville ou j'ai passé une petite partie de ma folle jeunesse. J'en conserve des souvenirs merveilleux. Merveilleuse photo également !!!
