Description
While perusing my ancient files, I encountered this goodie harking back to my salad days of Bryce/Poser art work, i.e., the years 2002 through 2006, when I was much more inventive, imaginative, indulgent and fun loving than I am now.
Anchors aweigh.

Terrific postwork. Lighting, reflection and contrasting colors very well done.

I love this one; something about the shape of a ship with sails that really speaks to my soul! Beautifully done, Harry!

Excellent work! This almost gives me a feeling of something which could be done in ink and chalks. Beautiful!

Another of your introspectively hued pieces, a wonderful combo of purples with greens, peach-hues with yellows, muddy greens and browns (in the water) with a few boats and shadows surrounding the big ship. And you have paint-swaths of mist across the sails. Your hues and lights in pieces like this are wonderfully evocative. It's really interesting how you used very rich hues---even eye-popping hues---in many of these pieces; but you never went overboard with them: Rather, they harmonized and created a deep organic mood. Ie, you made "all of a piece" with them, even created an inward and subdued mood. (The tendency of many artists---I'm one of them---is, when dealing with hues this rich, to go all out and create day-glo displays. But somehow you've bypassed that, and created real harmonies, singular moods. And to balance the dark ship, you have those very smooth luminous clouds...A beautiful moody piece, in still waters. Really fine work. (I realize I've forgotten to fav---it's because I'm totally wrapped up in the art. But I'll fav this, I don't want to forget the function...)
