Thank you for visiting my home page! My real name in John Daniels and I am a software developer that has been playing with digital art for about 5 years now. A family member (grafikeer) got me interested in working with 3D models and that was the end of my free time.
It has taken some time to get a handle on the tools, but I feel I am starting to get hang of it. The next step is to dig into the actual modeling aspect. I have a background in Architectual Drafting and working with 3D modeling for structures etc which I plan to leverage in the creation of my own props, clothing and textures.
The DS Meta data packs that I sell are the result of countless hours of learning and playing with my own content to fully understand how the metadata works and how to create is efficiently. I have over 5500 products in my own runtime that now has Smart Content Meta Data. I have been putting together packs that I think make sense and selling them here in the Renderosity Market Place. I picked up ZBrush and I am working on learning how to use it so that I can start creating my own content to publish, I have many ideas, but it will take some time to master the tools needed to bring those ideas to life...

Subtle dof and great light. Simplicity is sometime the best.... but I'm unable to create "simple" scene...

Superb portrait : I must say that to represent the luminosity of a fire is so hard and particular. I may add that the measure of the lighting is generally is not simple. Here, you did it as well and I don't know if there's something to do with my screen, but some tones appeared peaky to me. Then I made a try with your render, cutting the gal on the foreground and the stone behind in to one more layer and pushed the contrast on this new layer to 35. From my screen to my eyes it looked like better, and that was the moment when I noticed what the render engine didn't give there : the ghostly shadows a fire used to show us...if we consider that the girl leans on the stone behind. Looking about lighting ideas too, what do you think about it?
