Description

Or, my attempt at it. Still learning and swearing. The skull cap has been put on as transparent after using the morph brush to get it as close to the skull as possible so the hairs won't be growing out of nothing (had that happen already). The hair color is about where I want it, very close. The hair itself....not so much. There are about 115,000 hairs in all; bangs, top, sides, back and fine hairs. The fine hairs are smaller in diameter at the root than the rest and ring the skull cap at the edge and all of the materials have "opaque in shadow" selected in the Material Room. Too much clumping, I think. The pattern is so obvious it's not funny so I will definitely go back and work on that. The hairs are all varied in length as well, some more than others to get the swept up and back look. I'll have to work the back a lot more with the styling tools to blend it a lot more than how it is now. Too much skull showing through- though I did like the idea of having some come through as if he ripped a hand through it over the top of the skull. A mix of dynamic and styling ended up with this. I'm done for today- my head hurts. Will keep plugging at it, since this is one thing in this program I really would like to get a handle on beyond craptastic results. Note: after a certain amount of density (hair count), I've had to save, close, and re-open Poser to try and render it. It kept taking parts of the render itself and displacing it further to the right- so in the orange, I'd have squares of hair rendered out. Five test renders, and I'm out of memory. Again; save, close, re-open and re-render.
