Davros was created by Terry Nation for the 1975 Dr Who story "Genesis of the Daleks". He was killed off at the end of that story, but since when did death get in the way of a good villian. In subsequant stories Davros became the Daleks' mouth-piece- having the ability to string a sentence together which didn't necessarily begin and end with the word 'exterminate'. After his death and resurrection Davros took it upon himself to sort out his creations, only to find himself on trial by their victims! Davros is (C) 1975 The Terry Nation Est & the BBC.
