Shaggy ink caps are always great subjects, they change so much! Once fully developed they drop inky spores from their putrefying flesh! How Halloween is that! This is falling on the smaller developing fruiting body! A larger image again

A masterful image! You probably know they are delicious when young but not to be eaten with alcohol as they contain the same chemical as the drug 'Antabuse'.
