Hah, ye thrust like an olde woman, knave!
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
I took a lot of pics of this particular entertainment. Or was it just harmless entertainment? Maybe they really intended to do each other in. It worked with the gladiators in ancient Rome, so why not here?

Wonderful series of the duel; it must be a friendly match as none of the spectators seem terribly alarmed. Some classic fencing poses, with large sweeping movements. I trust no one was injured? Excellent captures all, Harry, with a full spectrum of colours in this faireground set.

They seem to be having fun, but in the actual era, this was done for real, death and or injury was the rules of the day.. Nice shots all mate! Rob
