Description
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
ZOOM worthy.
More entertainment for me to record. This shows Jack #2, clambering up the beanstalk, and risking life and limb, in his effort to steal the goose that lays the golden eggs from the evil giant. He also reached the top of the beanstalk. I don't know what happened to Jack #1 after he reached the top. I wonder if he ever came down.
And, the bottom shot displays the unhappy lovely who ran this entertainment feature of the Faire. She's apparently upset about something.

Wonderful photos from the Faire! My father always loved going for the obvious reason in photo three, the women's costumes. Yeah, he wasn't afraid to admit that.

Wow, a climbing rock doesn't strike me as terribly Rennaissance, but what do I know? And as far as the young lady, maybe she's upset about the horns growing out of her head? They must hurt... Jack #1 is missing? I'd say the giant probably got him. Great series of excellent shots, you have the best coverage of this faire!

Very nice idea for the title here, Harry. Also you have to love those horns.

Never had a go at that activity.. Often seen it at various events I've been to, mainly to keep brats occupied as they don't wish to learn about anything except mobile phones.. Good shots of the climbing, not going to comment about someone who live in Mexico.. Rob

I'm back in October now, leaving the current stock, not because I don't want to do those (I do!), but because I don't want to neglect your "back stock". Until I do another long session, I wanted to comment on at least one of these climbing shots, because they're delightful, unusual, and with the faire woman at bottom, really funny too. Not because 'she's' funny (she's peeved!), but because the whole gestalt is just really quirky and funny. She's in a renaissance gown, she's got little white horns (I mean if she wanted to be devilish, why such small horns? and you can even see the string that holds them together---this is like kids play-acting, and I think it's just delightful), and she looks, as you say, upset...and we have no idea why. Does it have anything to do with the dude on the fake mountain/stalk/pillar/overgrown nugget bar? And behind her, some person is peeking from behind the nugget bar, but doesn't want to be seen. I love that you stuck this in at the end---even though the "mountain" is present in all 3, it really gives a fun twist to the montage. As for the guy, you wouldn't get me up there; but then he doesn't look like he's at the "edge of his senses" (as mountain climbers would be), but rather like he's done this 1000 times, and he's, like, just doin' it, duuuude. And it's such a quirky sight, because that thing he's scaling has (what looks like) chunks of candy in it! I think there's even a skull on the far left. Remember "chunky" bars---the candy? Well this is a light nougat version of it. Delightful shots, with a real street-shot conclusion. When I come back, I promise to do more of your faire shots: I've neglected them of late. Not by choice. This is delightful.
