Description
As I enjoy a quiet evening at home, as I wanted to, I am able to reflect on what is important to me. It's not what gifts I might have gotten, or how many people wished me a happy day. It is what could I really wish for if indeed birthday wishes came true.
I don't know what you could wish for; but for me, it would be a world totally devoid of things we have become tired of hearing about: Cancer, Ebola, debt, war, terrorism, political rhetoric, joblessness, gangs, crime, violence, political corruption,...... I think if we could just eliminate just one or two things from our own personal lists, and then get people to think a little bit about others and a little less about themselves and their possessions; or at least to have some respect for others, the world would be a much better place.
I hope you're all having a wonderful evening. Tonight, I'm right where I want to be; home, where it's safe, semi-quiet, and I have some control of the bad news which infiltrates the walls surrounding us.

I'm with you all the way on your wish list, and, are you implying that it's your birthday? If so, have a good one. You also have the wonderful aura of Halloween to look forward to, which is another plus. The rendering is super duper with sterling composition, atmosphere and mood.

Very social thoughts, but do you practisize them ever? Do you pay attention to somebody else or do you write al the time about yourselve? A very nice pose and moody lighting.
