As someone who has had his fair share of death and near death in the last 6 months, I am totally fine with this. There is a subtle but essential difference between laughing at the dead and laughing at death. It's an interesting shot and quite morbid...in a good way. Saying that I really have never 'got into' Halloween and don't even understand much of it.

I was happy for you that nobody was upset with this funeral possession photo. It is a part of life and it is a wonderful capture with the old style thatched roof house as part of the background!

I don't know why this would not be appropriate. Take out the modern bits and it becomes a great 19th century image. The line of cars behind the carriage shouldn't be an issue. We have that everyday here except the carriage is another car and is driven by what we call "retired people".
