Description
Or would that be vampiress?
More from my past ventures into Poser and Bryce, performed during my fun, imaginative and patient years from 2002 through 2006. I spent a lot of time and effort on this concept.
Extremely ZOOM worthy.
This is the piece de resistance and pride and joy of my Halloween folder. As you can tell from my past postings of this genre, I don't waste my time on pussy willow, sugar plum fairy versions of this glorious day, diluting it into a touchy-feely pretense of its true self. And, please, no sarcastic comments.
Have a good day.

Perfect to finish off the Halloween images. I see she brought along a few of her friends too; though they are a little batty. Sorry, couldn't resist. Almost a 3D effect to this one too, very cool.

You won't get any sarcastic comments from me, to be sure. Halloween was supposed to be filled with strange, post-life creatures, the ghosts of the dead come back to be redeemed and taken from their purgatory: It should be filled with play mixed with the darkest side of life. It's the time to be macabre...The lighting on the vampire reminds me of one of your recent shoe-shots: It's intense, eerie and dramatic. (Not to compare this lady with a pair of shoes, lol: I don't want to piss her off...) But it's very dramatic, and yet playful at the same time. Fine shadow work---and you did her skin in black and white, while everything else is in deep crimson reds (but for her eyes, which are deep red---nice touch---no irises, just red!) Your sense of hue here is, again, seen in the luminous greens, the beautiful peach hues in the background, the deeper purples above, and the purplish browns of the bats (picking up some of that purple). Your lettering, once again, picks up the hues in the piece; but it heightens them---that's a great hue. (And your signature picks up the greens, too, but heightens them.) Very well composed, with balance on both ends. In addition to being scary---aided by an abandoned house---it's a fine piece of design. Fine work, Harry, a fine Halloween image. And btw, someone should buy her a nail-clipper: Those nails could kill...
