This lightning is terrible. Unless there are two suns in the system, it's absolutely impossible to have such scene. The light and shadow of the planet is VERY wrong. Think about what have you done here. All the lightning and shadow from this scene are very wrong. Oh, just keep in mind the atmosphere is NOT a lightning system and is NOT iluminated by it own. U should make the atmosphere null in the planet areas that aren't iluminated by the sun.

Or maybe the system does have two suns. It's science fiction, why not? I think it's beautiful!

Well, the lighting does appear to be a little wrong but I'm with Darcy, maybe there are two suns. I think it's pretty cool too. I think someone needs some etiquette lessons, too.

This is good scifi, liked it so well I downloaded it for a background. This is art, not science.

I agree that there is something disconcerting with the lighting but I don't think it takes away from the composition or intent of the subject matter. It would be very cool to take the secondary off scene light source and tone it down with a bit of blue, green or purple. Really the only thing thing I find distracting is the odd reflection on the backside of the mothership. Cool models.
