Description

Moorveld is actually a part of Geulle, a neighborhood with many old houses and farms. It is wonderfully quiet for a walk. The owner of this house (which was originally a farmhouse) including at the back a converted restaurant, has told us that the Germans in the Second World War, first taken up residence in that restaurant, annex hotel; and then the Americans (as liberators) have stayed there for a period. Thank you very much for your attention.

Mies, they have done such a nice job in keeping this historical little place looking great. I would love to visit the restaurant in the back.

The colours of the house are just so beautiful and an excellent choice of the owners, I especially like the vine growing along the upper ledge ... and the architecture is so totally different - from what we we have to offer in OZ ... great find Jacominchen, take care BB
