Yes, have been playing again. Got a big box off bottons of my sister in law and as I dont sew, I can always use them for something else, cant I? So here goes. ;-)

Beautiful work. I have a big button box from my mother and every button has a story. I know which ones were on a certain dress or coat. Some of them are very old.

Ditto all the above. And I agree with Tara, go ahead and keep playing! I can't explain what this does to me. I've been in a metallic/gold/bronze phase, in my head. I haven't produced one art-piece that looks that way, but I've got it in my head. The buttons are like creatures who've gathered together, to share things. And you've got them grouped beautifully---a lot in the sky, like moons and suns. And almost tree-like branches (stings? small ropes? rolled up papers?) on the bottom. But there's no ground per se, just more buttons. I love the darkening lower half, and the canvas/burlap texture of your background. And it seems to have rolled-over sides. This hits every chord in me---I could have a whole room filled with these. Terrific. The variety coming out of you lately has been mind-boggling. I struggle to do a photo-manipulation, and you're pouring this stuff out in waterfalls. 2000 stars!
