Description
Project Daedalus.
This is the basic outline for my new ship, still a long way to go.
The idea is that the ship will be broken down into sections upon arrival at a planet, allowing a base to be constructed on the surface.
Modeling my own.

The domes were created using a geo dome in Wings3d. Halved it, Beveled the faces, then extracted these and grouped them. Highlighted the innner beveled faces on the original shape (took a while) then intruded these to leave a skeleton geodome,replaced extraced group to origina position...voila, geodome shell.(yeah i know sounds complicated LOL..sorry)
