Hi there =) ! It has again been a long absence from Renderosity for a couple of weeks due to work.... Finally got some time this week to do this and the next image I am uploading. Will be slowing going though all your uploads over the next couple of days. About this render: The is the next shot in the car magazine series. Miho drove her 2nd Meteor to the town for another photo shoot. This was a black one with spotless shine. She parked the car where it created a really nice reflection of the surrounding town building with the sun light coming through the arc, on the car body. The photographer was more than happy with what he saw through his camera. Though I posed this in DAZ Studio, I had to export them as Obj to Octane to render them. The current state of the DAZ Octane plugin cannot handle these scenes properly and there are still a lot of crashes. It is slowly improving though. In Octane, getting the sunlight to point the right way is not so simple. At least no where near as easy as it is in DAZ Studio. So getting to light this scene the right way was a challenge as the surrounding buildings were blocking the sunlight and that was causing very dark patches on Miho's skin. Once I managed to get the light to come through the arc, the scene looked nice. Miho looked relaxed and the car body reflected the scene beautifully and the sun though the arc looked good. The stone pathway looks good too I think. I did use Octane texture on the Meteor as well as the road and the brick pathway. Even Miho's skin is partially using Octane material. I think the skin tone looks better in the next render I will be uploading shortly. Used a new hair on Miho. I am still kind of playing around with different textures to see in which i can make Miho look the best and most realistic. Posed in Daz Studio, rendered in Octane. No post work done. Do zoom in. Very nice work with the reflections on the car! Wow Octane Renders seem to be very hard to control! Can Octane be used more easily with Poser? Provence is my country, wonderful decor at DAZ!
