Description
Captured 10/18/14, mid day, on Les Boulevard of the parade.
Not too many opportunities to snap photographers, one of my favorite things, because virtually everyone else was using their cellphone to record the parade. That's no fun to take shots of. What a bummer. Barely any DSLRs and point-and-shoot cameras, at least in my general area of activity.

Interesting observation Harry. You really don't seem to see any, or many, real cameras anymore. Everything seems to be digital, and more often than not, people are using their cell phones. Nice catches.

These are some very nice captures of them, Harry.

Wonderful candid shots, Harry; I hate this proclivity for cell phone usage for everything, but I'm definitely in the minority, I'm sure.

Ah the cursed cellphone (or mobile as its called here).. I hate them, and don't own one.. It makes me burst into laughter as I see idiots trying to capture a Spitfire at Legends with a mobile! Duh! Like yeah! Neat captures mate Rob

I'm at 90 minutes now, and unfortunately I have to catch some other artists, but I'll be back. I did a lot of street shots this time, because I've ignored them over several sessions (for the most part). But there are plenty of other styles of yours awaiting me. So I'll end on one more street shot---this is a fine pairing. The top one is so fascinating---with what looks like either Indian or Indonesian people, all in the same blouses or dresses (I can't tell), and carrying those blue umbrellas. A real street shot, because it captures people doing what they do, and being inexplicable to outsiders. The front woman, all concentrated on a shot, with those gloves totally out of sync with her outfit (photography gloves) and the strap----a wonderful 'peak' to the shot. And then you turn everything the other direction, and we get this big guy---definitely NOT Indian or East Asian---with a great cap and a big camera, with tripod connected. You were close to these people, you got good shots of them, standing so close. The bottom shot has lots of space too---which this big dude needs, visually. A fine pairing, not only in opposite directions, but in mass (massing on top, open on the bottom). And in style. You catch the melting pot in your street shots. More fine street work, Harry. Your roaming eye is very alive.
