Such fun! That was the way we rode on the waves when I was a teenager. The word surfing hadn't been invented as far as we were concerned and there were no boards. Ordinary people didn't travel and life was good! What a superb photo, Andrew.

Airborne ! - what a stroke of luck, you caught him in midair and I know, how tricky it is to take surfing pictures ... when my son Jeff used to surf, mainly when we lived in Sydney, Noosa and also occasionally now @ Kirra Beach in QLD. it almost looks comical, as if he is trying to do push-ups on water ;)) wicked capture, Andrew BB
