You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

After all that shouting do you suppose Richard was a little hoarse? Terrific image of a very creative sculpture. I like the POV against the sea and sky.

Yep, definitely no Trojan's hiding in there King Richard, but this horse is almost as big as a kingdom...if you're rather small, that is ! LOL Nicely composed capture and glimpse at this years Swell Festival, looking forward to more. ~Cheers~

I'm totally out of my mind at the sight of this magnificent horse. And I just very much love your shot, dear friend. One way or another, the horse seems to be alive, also your focus is ideal to admire (with awe) the size of this fantastic image; this because you show this little person right in the photo. Despite the enormous power which radiates the horse, it seems to be all alone on the beach, and surrounded only by an endless expanse of sand that gives me to think about what the horse might think, haha. Anyway, I like your info about your father, so interesting to imagine, dear Gitti-friend. I hope you can stand the heat there with you. And, oh, did you, for example, invited Angela and Barrack to take a swim in your pool? Then don't forget to present them a real Brigitte cocktail, huh? Cheers in advance.

Well, leave it to our resident travel-photographer---Mark (wysiwyg, whose gallery is a treasure)---to come up with the only pun possible for Richard III. I intend to do a long session very soon, but for right now, I want to at least comment on one image for today. When I first saw this, I thought you'd drawn or painted the horse into the photograph. Then I read your description---it's a real sculpture! Well your postwork (zoom's a must) brings out the webwork of the beast, and you've captured the light shining through it too. The emptiness of the beach (few people) sets off how stark that horse really is. As an artist, such sights must really hit you. You postworked it for the fantasy it is, and brought out all the light-filled lines. And I like the big warm-gray cloud-line along the skyline. Very sensitive work, and beautiful, Brigitte. (I attended rehearsals for a Royal Shakespeare student production of Richard III, and in the big scene where Richard cries out "A horse! a horse...", one of the actors ran out with a stuffed horse, threw it at Richard, and screamed, "here's your damned horse! Now SHUT THE F___ UP!" The whole cast fall on the floor laughing. It was worth it being alive just to see that...)

WOW....WOW....WOW.... I think I've already made my decision without seeing the other sculptures ( I know it is unfair). This horse is so vivid.....so wild and untamed like a Mustang. And the size is really impressive!! Hug from Julchen
