Special Notes: Just something fun for those that read my Gunslinger stories. [The Map] "Guys, I can't find it anywhere," cries Misfire crawling under his bunk in a panic. "Where did you see it last?," asks Thunder. "If I knew that, it wouldn't be lost," says Misfire. "Gunslinger Elias is going to skin me alive, help me." Thunder jumps to the side to avoid being hit by the various objects Misfire is throwing out from under his bunk as he searches. "Not in here," says Sprint checking the ice-box, and finishing off a carton of orange juice. "Oh come on, stop messing around," says Misfire turning his bunk upside down. "If a civilian finds it I'm dead." "Umm.. guys, I think we got a problem," says Rock pushing buttons on the Vid-screen. "No.. no.. no..," cries Misfire. "Someone posted it to the Imperial Net. Shoot me, quick." "It's not that bad," says Rock. "Maybe nobody will notice." "Guys, look, an incoming command message," Sprint points at the flashing message on the Vid-screen." "Don't answer it," begs Misfire. "I'll go throw myself at the Beastie Cats." "You'll probably get more mercy from them than the Commander," says Thunder pushing the button to open the message. "Why did you do that?" shouts Misfire. "You hate me." -- All First Year Trainees report to my office immediately-- Commander Conrad. "What?" says Sprint. "Why all of us? We didn't all lose the map." The door bangs open and we jump at least four feet in the air. Ace is standing in the door with that half-crooked grin of hers. "Figured I find you cowards hiding here, Commander sent me to get you." "But.. why all of us?" asks Thunder. "Because you're all idiots, that's why," says Ace. "I'll be put in front of a firing squad for losing the map," says Misfire. "Like I said, idiots," says Ace. "What's that say in the top left corner of the Vid-screen?" "Umm.. closed circuit Vid-screen," says Rock. "Duh, that means the Commander put the map up there to scare you," explains Ace. "Just take your punishment like the little boys you are; crying like babies." Ace walks back out the door laughing. "Let's go boys, I got better things to do than baby-sit you Firsties." "See," says Thunder. "Everything will be fine, nobody will ever get their hands on the Lone Gunslinger's secret base map." "I don't know, something's gonna go wrong, and the whole galaxy will see the map, I just know it."
