Description
"Professor Babbage! We need more mousetraps!"
The real reason why Charles Babbage couldn't get the Analytical Engine to work. And yes, it really was that big.

Nice - as a historical note, the "computers" the U.S. and Japan used to help control their shipboard AA guns weighed more than a ton each.

Nice image... Maybe it was a hoax ... But I think, somewhere has been written about it, which has been trying to build an executable copy of the Difference Engine and is said to have been found here, that the the faulty installation of an single gear caused its disfunctionality... We can not imagine what happened if the difference engine would have been united with the early electrical inventions of Faraday, Oersted, Jacobi (built in St. Petersburg the first electric motor, long before Siemens and others), Gauss (Telegraph, before Morse), Reiss (telephone, before Graham Bell) .., Popov (Spark-gap transmitter, before Marconi)
