I don't know where you are but the mushrooms look dermocybe austroveneta. Either that or they are a variety of death cap mushrooms. I am not an expert on mushrooms or fungi but had a quick peek at some mushroom sites and compared them lol. Superb capture and unique find.

I've just looked in our book of the British Countryside and it looks like it could be a death cap mushroom which is poisonous.

I think these green ones are the Parrot Waxcap, Hygrocybe psittacina. You are so lucky, Jeff, they aren;t always that green, in fact they're often orange or pinkish but always with a touch of green; FAB find! Have a google for lots more info.

I read that green capped ones are 'Death Cap'.. I've never touched them lol Well spotted and best avoided if in doubt! Rob
