Description

I have posted many shots from this valley over the years. I have seen it in all seasons and weathers, even deep snow! I love it for it's layers that occur naturally. The light seldom effects them all the same. Then the mist can send them paler and paler into the distance. This time we had the darkish clouds with occasional gaps for the warmish autumn sunshine to spotlight small areas. What more can a photographer wish for! I did have to spend a while waiting for the breakthroughs at times. That's when you get to feel cold, so a few shots and get moving again. I am also more and more fascinated by zigzag compositions and portrait shots of landscapes.
