Description
All leading where?
More evidence of the ongoing widening of our local I-5 freeway using heavy equipment, captured 11/15/14, early on an overcast morning, not too far from my humble habitat.
The soil was very dry, which should give an indication as to the heavy weight of the vehicles.
I have innumerable tons of similar tracks on record, most casting shadows, languishing in my capacious files.
Arrivederci.

Another smashing shot of patterns in soil from you, a very buzzing, jazzy, popping portrait. And the fact that the soil was dry meant we got crisp clear impressions, rather than the deeper "squooshier" impressions from wet soil. In the criss cross, you found a scintillating intersection: Good pov, and choice of which swath to shoot. The lines are ready to take-off at top (the shot has motion), and the hue's almost jaundiced, with tints of green/gold: most fascinating. And there must be several types of vehicles here, because the tire tracks are quite varied...It's another wonderful criss-cross of humans' interacting with nature, from you; and it looks like a huge runway from the air. Love it.

What a beautiful abstract this one is, Harry! Love the implication of light at the top, subtly lighting those twining and diverging tracks. What an eye you have! Great work!

I love your tire track shots and the ones that are gilded by the sun are particular favorites! Beautiful light and patterns! I love the patterns and textures! Honeycombs, zigzags, Ys, and of various depths. There is a section, between the honeycombs, where the ground seems to have convulsed, breaking open in confused disarray. Very cool! I love it!
