Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Another of your studies exploring the many expressions of people lost in thought or reaching out. Beautifully and spontaneously done, Helle. I like that this is just 'heads'---concentrating on the face and its attitudes...One of the joys of facial sketches is that it lets us experience the face in "gestures"---simple lines for the eyes, shading around them, that heavy cross-hatch in the person on the right, the white to balance it, capturing pensive expression (the guy on the left), or a 'seeking' expression (the guy on the right). The notebooks of masters are filled with heads, some with upper torsos, some with just hands or feet (or draperies over legs---da vinci studied drapery on humans many times, and they were breathtaking). I love this series, their spontaneity and fidelity to detail; and I hope you keep doing and posting them. You get a full human expression in a single gesture, a full presence in each 'sketch'. Wonderful work, Helle, I love that you're sharing your notebooks with us. (Drawings like these are an artist's personal notebooks...their visual diaries...) More please.

Helle, I feel so blessed that in the last few days you have treated us to so many of your marvelous works of art. The portraits you create as well as the detailed paintings have one thing in common, and that is they are all done with love and care.

They both seem lost in thought but so very differently.
