Description
A quick glance over the trenches ... Maybe taken from a balloon observer ... So how blurred the contours of increasing height, fade the fates ... But as already noted. Some of the bruised here, we will meet again.

Noch ein kurzer Blick über den Schützengraben... Vielleicht aufgenommen aus einem Beobachterballon... So, wie aus zunehmender Höhe die Konturen verschwimmen, verblassen auch die Schicksale...
Aber wie schon einmal bemerkt. Einige der hier geschundenen, werden wir wiedertreffen.
