Description

I took lots of scenic pictures while at Arches National Park but it is called Arches for a reason. Because it is Wednesday where I live, today I am offering a mid-week special, two for the price of one. As you might guess this is known as Double Arch. To get a sense of the scale note the couple at the bottom of the image.

Thank you for the double-trouble, Mark ;P It's monumental and overwhelmingly strong, these words come to mind viewing these colossal arches ... I envision here a new type of BG scenery for another version or chapter for a 'LOTR' - movie - I just spotted two Hobbits and a Gollum :)) BB

Even though this is so huge it somehow feels 'comfortable' to look at it, I suppose because we are at ground level. Awe inspiring and yet satisfyingly curvy.

Fantastic photography Mark and if it wasn't for the people the whole sense of scale would not be there. I don't remember seeing this one when I was in Arches.
