Yes, the flickr version has more color, and is more bright overall. But this one has a more reflective feeling, and the hues go through more transitions. It has the hues of the Northern Renaissance, and especially of Caravaggio (in his still lifes). Lots the use of black. This is terrific, Andrea, for detail and interaction. A number of the leaves are being eclipsed (as your complaining leaf in your description attests), and the decay of all kinds makes it a complex abstract. I really like this, it has some of the hues and "modeling" that you get in your color drawings, like the piece you posted for Ana, this year. A leaf still life. I really like this. It's wonderful in zoom.
