November Mariner (Late Voyage Sojourn)
Autumn's hues laid white
With everything on earth
Hushed in it's cocoon
Curled away white on gray.
Violet violin skies
Herald an arctic water's journey
With rhymes of ancient mariners
And a flying albatross.
Tales of captains tied to wheels
Here am I Mr. Renfield
Crying out for my (metaphorical) Mr. Lugosi
"Master, master I am here."
Every living thing crawls
It's belly up from the earth
Yet with the tide's triumphal roar
Finally falls back again.
All must needs ends be
A sea son I see
My name written on the sea
Teasing me from eternity.
