Description

This is the fifth of six pictures that I will be posting showing all the sections of the spaceship (Mars Explorer Hermes1). As with most of the spaceships that I create this is a redesign of this vehicle. The sixth and final image will be up tomorrow showing the final render of this wireframe. I will be showing other pictures with this spaceship in a few scenes after the final posting tomorrow before moving on to other projects. Thanks again for everyones comments and for viewing my work. Cheers, David

Hey Mike, thanks for your comment and question. The render time for this section was about 5 hours at 64 Rays per pixel and Premium Effects! It's a fast computer with an AMD R2 2 GB of DDR5 video ram and 16 GB of RAM. The processor is an Intel Quad core i7-4790 CPU 3.60GHz. The system also has 9 TB of hard drive space split between 3 drives. I hope this answers your question. Cheers, David
