Description
The other day we had some prospective buyers coming over to look at our house & since realtors prefer that we not be home when that happens, I went up to visit our good friends up the road, Arthur & Kristi. They were just leaving to do some errands, but they were happy to let me stay there while they were gone. I took the opportunity to take a bunch of photos inside & outside their house & I was happy enough with several of them that I will post them here. This is one of their new cats (a brother & sister pair that's hard to tell apart) peeking out at me through the custom cat door that Arthur built for them.

Delightful, Claude, and really fine detail. The hues, man you get richness. This is rembrandt red and yellow, and it's very rich. And the cat is delightful---with real clarity in the eyes---and clarity in that cloth he's peeking through. (Covering the opening?) The rocks are very clear too---you got richness and clarity all at once. It's all aglow. Man I like your style. (Years back, when we were studying language, a bunch of us gave each other words and said we had to come up with fake---but 'real sounding'---word origins for whatever word we were given. They gave me "peek-a-boo"---fitting for this shot. I don't remember the b.s. I came up with, but I know I did 3 pages on some ancient teutonic root for "boo," going back to a ritual that devout Hindu cats did after prolonged meditation. I was gonna say, here, that I wish I had it, 'cause I'd include it---but be happy I don't have it: I was tedious, stupid and lonnnnnnng. But we did have a lot of fun...it was a way to let off steam from all the minutia.)
