Still at friends Arthur & Kristi's house - this is their front porch.
I haven't been commenting much lately because my internet service has been agonizingly slow the last couple of days...

Zowie---another of your "still life with architecture" shots. It's like you arrange all this---which I know you can't, certainly not in someone else's place ("I moved a couple of walls around, hope you don't mind..."), and not with walls and pots like this one. But it has the feel of an intuitively composed still life. The colors are terrific, and I know you coached them and brought them forward in your postwork-way, and the contrast with that white/brown vase is stunning. As is the contrast with those leaf clusters on top. Or the pumpkin on the right. It's all so "honest". You have an eye for these sights, and then you give them your treatment and you coax them out till everything shines and relates. I think this is beautiful.
