Description

Another made with fineliner or ink if you like. Have a beautiful Sunday. It is almost freezing here this morning, but biting cold because of the wind. BRRR! Not my cup of tea. Thank you for your kind comments to my last post. :-)

I'm waiting for one of these actual people to come here and get furious at your portrait of them! Another insightful whole pair, moments that are whole even though sketches. The man on our left looks a bit disgruntled, and you caught the moment perfectly. (He looks a little like Jimmy Carter.) Nice work on the big nose, the turned lips (like he's scowling), the furrowed eyes...and the other guy looks a bit stunned and disappointed, his mouth open a bit as if to say something, and his eyes looking at someone as if listening but not too happy with what he's hearing. A very 'real' facial capture. Again, two whole personality-moments, in sketches. And your pen is very deft at creating space quickly, as well as expression. When you post in pairs, we get to see the range of your drawing, because we can see different personalities right next to each other. I love this series.
