Description
It is nearly fifty years since Bob Bakker unveiled his (at the time) contraversial views on warm blooded dinosaurs. In the intervening years we have discovered much evidence of fluffy and feathery dinosaurs, at least amongst the smaller predators. It is probably only a matter of time before a suitably hirsute rex is found somewhere. In the meantime we have MNartist's excellent, if still speculative model of how this might have appeared millions of years ago.

"Ah! At last someone who's got it RIGHT! I'm furry in winter and shed it in summer when it gets nice and hot!" - T.Rex. Keep up the good work! I love seeing myself on screen! :-)
Crudelitas
Oh, how cute! The two are deeply in love! Made fabulous!

Nice image - however, they are befeathered, not hirsute (feathers are not hair).

I'll stick with fluffy if you don't mind.

superb work :)

It makes sense since they really never went extinct. We just call them birds now.

Nice work! They look appropriately affectionate.
