Description

I love this land here as it have so much to offer. I know I can not walk into this place even when i was young and do it. There is snakes and spiders ; i see so many spiders in one area of the woods it make me wonder why i walking as i needed a big stick just to make a path for me to walk. i did not kill the spiders as they ran away from me.[happen about 14 years ago] They was the big garden spiders lol just think of thousands of them all around you with big spider webs from tree to tree across the path] of course no camera at the time . And there is the gators also. And the worst is the people as you never know what they going to do. Watch too many movies like Deliverance [google it] and Gator [google it] But i love this area. guess we all have spooky times in all lands we live around the world

One of the coolest shots you've posted of this wonderful country. Snakes, spiders and Big Foot inhabit this amazing piece of territory, Jock, so I would be wearing impenetrable hard rubber hip boots if I was to go plodding through.

Oh, WOW! What an absolutely gorgeous shot this is, Jock! This looks so magical and beautiful. As is often the case, a really beautiful place can hide deadly surprises. Your story of the spiders makes me think of the scenes in the second Hobbit movie where the giant spiders attack the company of dwarves. I'd be more concerned about the gators, though... Or like you said, the people... I remember Deliverance... I couldn't walk in the woods for months after that film.....:-P

A wonderful photo and you don't need to get stuck in the swamp with the gators, snakes and spiders!

A sweet shot of the dangerous swamp! Yeah I love spiders, but do not like getting surprised by them and I really hate it when you walk into a web and end up with a big spider on your face.
