Great capture here Richard. I find myself often wondering where they are headed when I see one of these, but never had the thought they wouldn't appear on the other side of the cloud.

I've not seen a jet this big disappear into a cloud and not come out, but I have seen something disappear above a cloud (a very large cloud..) and not reappear on the other side.. It was only visible for a few seconds - I think it was probably a fairly large meteor that either burned up, or skipped off the atmosphere, and back into space.. This is an awesome capture, Richard!
