Description
Greetings Folks,
What you are looking at here, safely inside the gates of Burghley House, is what is possibly the rarest and most valuable of all Aston Martin cars..(aside from Mr Bonds DB5 lol).
This is the very VERY limited (grand total of 32!) V8 Vantage Volante Prince Of Wales Spec (POW) Convertible..
The base line Vantage of course featured in The Living Daylights, it had :
Tire Spikes
Jet engine behind rear number plate
Retractable outriggers
Heat-seeking missiles behind fog lights
Lasers in front wheel hubcaps
Bulletproof windows
Fireproof body
Self-destruct system
These were NOT standard! LOL
Enjoy and ZOOM
Rob
P.S. Pink Lady looks like an 'F' I agree, I thought so too.. I list it as a 'G' only because sites list as one.. Odd, I thought al G's had chin turrets by then..

Even though I'm more of a DB 5 and 6 fan, I wouldn't turn this down either. Nice shot mate :)

Possibly the least Aston looking Aston ever ( with the exception of the Cygnet ). Was 'Prince of Wales' spec really a selling point? A great photo non the less from a show I'd love to see, and surely Burghley House has to be the perfect location....

Wonderful capture of this beautiful classic

Now that is a sharp looking ride!

Beautiful POV, clarity and color in this beautiful capture of the Aston Martin, sans armament I suppose, mate. I like vehicles that fire lasers and missiles. And, love the well manicured foliage and grass.

beautiful craftsmanship and superb capture

Can you refer me to a reputable dealer - I'd like to get these options installed on my minivan. It would make the annoying drive to work in the morning a whole lot more fun.... And what a beautiful shot of this very rare set of wheels, Rob! Fascinating information, and I'm sure I couldn't even afford the insurance on this beauty! :-D
