Description
A while back John mentioned he saw a man in a rowboat, fishing.
There was thick fog all around him, but he was visible.
That was a calming thing to see, said John.
That inspired me to do this image.
Ok, it's not a rowboat. ;-)
But I hope I captured the mood.

this can be taken as very calming OR very frightening. to see a sailing ship come out of the fog can at times give the captain of the viewing ship a minor case of anxiety if not trepidation Dit kan worden beschouwd als zeer rustgevende of zeer beangstigend. een zeilschip komt uit de mist kan soms geven de kapitein van het schip bekijken van een lichte vorm van angst, zo niet schroom zien. Wonderful image and great dedication

I grew up near the ocean. I remember the fogs and the fog horn warning the boats. I loved the sound at night as I went to sleep. This brings back those memories......Fantastic!

Very mysterious, bleak and haunting image...wait, did I do this and forgot I did, or you did this and I am seeing your level of artist go from intermediate pro to top professional? Doesn't it feel great when you feel yourself move up a level in your creative flow and artistic growth? I know I love it to death when that happens! It hasn't happened in a while for me...it may not happen again for me, but I hope it does...I crave learning! lol A magnificent piece Corrie...well balanced between light and dark and the overall composition is profoundly excellent! Even it's not exactly a row boat, you certainly captured mood. It is ambiguous, either calming or frightening depending on what your imagination associates with rocks, ship and heavy mist or fog.
