Well I'm a 50 year old guy. Born and raised in Tennessee but I moved out to California in 2009 to be with my fiancé;, now wife Christie or "Varanasi" here on Renderosity. We got married in September 2010. I've been doing web design for about 32 years, 3D and photography for about 320 years. My choice of software to use to create my 3d work is Blender along with Daz Studio. I also use the latest versions of Photoshop to do my post work and I use Substance Painter for textures. I also love to paint using Procreate on my iPad.

Fantastic detail. I especially like the texture you used on the rocks.

Wonderfully inspired and executed ... perhaps its just my perception but I feel that maybe the lighting could stand to be reduced by 15-20% but all in all a very well delivered illustration for the storyline. BTW spellcheck

Storybook look, missing the footsteps in the snow.

I have this outfit, but haven't used it....yet. It's a really cool outfit, though, for fantasy like you do. I love this one. Wasn't the ark supposed to have landed on Mount Arreat, too, or maybe it was the Ten Commandments....one of the two. Cool story. :O)

Cool - It's great to see work inspired by such a good game! I agree with victus about the lighting level but it's still a great scene

Thanks everybody for the comments and ratings :) I always appreciate them! Actually I think the lighting level is just fine. I know sometimes when we have a snow around here the light outside is so bright that you can't hardly see cause it is reflecting off the snow and that's what I was going for. Which what you see in the image is about what it looks like when we have a hard snow as far as the light level goes. So I think it turned out rather nicely :)

Very good composition, the atmosphere is great and it is so detailed!!! Many compliments :)!!! You've done a beautiful work to emphasize the peculiar brithness of the snow. ~Siliphiel
Blunt2k3
Hmmm, story sounds familiar...ah yes, it's ripped of from Diablo 2:Lord of Destruction
ShannonHowell
No Blunt2k3, it is not ripped from Diablo 2. I've already said that I like to play Diablo 2, and my graphics are based on the Diablo 2 world. so I usually put some names of cities or places in my stories that sound familiar so the viewer can kinda relate to what is going on if they have played Diablo 2. But never did you meet a woman on a quest to kill vampires in Diablo 2. and there was no guy named Zayl with a black horse and a hawk. :o) But thanks to everyone who did like the image :o) I always appreciate your comments.
