Thanks to all for your kind and encouraging comments. After some extended on again/off again --now completely off -- discussion with some people about the commercial use of this project, I've finally shelved it for good. Some revisions were made in the course of all that to the texturing...just nit picky things I should have seen from the start, and a final 1024x render may be seen here: http://www.pcnet.com/~thallad/stuff/1024street.jpg My thanks and best wishes to all of you.

Its the first time Ive looked at the truespace gallery (I normally work with Bryce). Im very impressed with what the prog can do, but I think this type of work still needs a very talented person no matter how good the software is. You are very talented!!!. Excellent work, well done.

I love this scene. It reminds me of one of those elaborate model train layouts. It has a bit of an Edward Hopper feel as well. I can't even imagine how many hours you must have invested in this image. The overall compostion is very good, but it's the details like the puddle by the hydrant that keep me coming back to look again.

Wow, I just joined this site and came across this image. Very impressive. I have been thinking of getting truespace. If truespace is capable of such beautiful renderings I will probably now buy it. You are a very talented person and deserve all the praise you recieved here.
